1x15Mw Coal Power Plant & New Clinker Plant Power System Design & Testing

In this consultancy assignment, we reviewed and graded/co-ordinated protection settings for both 1x15MW Coal Power Plant and New Clinker Plant Power Distribution system.
The Power System Study, design and testing was carried out in one month and led to stabilized and improved reliability of the power distribution system. Nuisance trips that had huge negative impact on production and maintenance were arrested. The project activities included the following:

• Distribution System Network Power flow studies
• Power System Fault level Calculations at 11kV, 6kV and 400V.
• Protection Relays settings calculations
• Protection System Co-ordination studies and simulations using ETAP software
• Protection Relays parameters setting
• Protection Relays and Scheme Testing.
• Training
